My wife, Beth, and I are both graduates of Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska and have been connected to Calvary since 2016 in a variety of capacities: as college students, community members, musicians, ministry interns, etc. Though she grew up in Omaha and I in Wisconsin, this place and the community here certainly were, and have continued to be, a “home” to us. We have had the opportunity to see the world and serve overseas and to be involved in a variety of areas of ministry areas over the last few years, but we couldn’t deny the calling that now was the time to go back “home” and see what God was preparing.

Lincoln has been our home again as of the end of 2021 and we are excited to see what the future will bring here.

I have the opportunity to work as a Mission Coordinator and am continuing to learn what it means to be “one who helps equip others.” Broadly speaking, we aim to celebrate and share God’s love through service in our communities. There is a great freedom that exists in such a role. To be a connector, a bridge, a motivator, a friend. To hope to play a part in opening eyes to the beautiful work that our God is already doing in each of our lives with each of the different communities of people we are already connected to.
