Music

Music plays a huge part throughout the history of the church. In the Old Testament we are urged to praise the Lord with music (Psalm 150). After the last supper, Jesus and his disciples sang a hymn together (Matthew 26). Martin Luther said that "music is the art of the prophet and the gift of God." It is for these reasons we come together as musicians and singers to share the gifts that God has given us. If you are interested in sharing your gift of music at Calvary, please let us know!

Early Service

Our 8:00 am service is more traditional, with the majority of the songs being hymns. Though the music is more traditional, we lead the congregation in worship as a team using a variety of instruments and voices. If you're interested in participating, please contact Corrine for more information on how you can serve.

Late Service

Our 10:30 am service is more contemporary, where many of the songs sung you may have heard on your Christian radio station. Keeping in mind the theme and our Lutheran doctrine, the songs we sing speak to the message being proclaimed. If you're interested in participating, please contact Elijah for more information on how you can serve.
